Founded in 1946, Construτ⌡es e ComΘrcio Camargo CorrΩa S.A. has been performing engineering services in the heavy-construction area, infra-structure sector, as well as project management.

The Company started its business in the earthmoving, grading and paving areas, taking part on important projects in the local market.

The main purpose of the Company has always been the commitment to organization and quality, supported by constant purchasing of new equipment and the use of state-of-art technology.

The 50's marked the diversification of the activities of Camargo CorrΩa, when the Company started to build Dams and Hydroeletric Power Plants, led by a great investment from the Country into the energy industry. Since then, its leadership and pioneer technology have been established throughout the country with hidroeletric plants, subway systems, ports and aiports, highways, railways, as well as commercial and industrial buildings and sanitation works, etc.

Recently, Camargo CorrΩa has been guidind efforts to expand its activities abroad throught Joint Ventures with local Companies.

Camargo CorrΩa divided its business into six great areas :

Camargo CorrΩa and its Group has always been present in the sectors of Project and Consulting, Cement and Pre-Cast Work, Metal Silicon, Aluminum in a Joint Venture with Alcoa, Testile, Fabrics, Clothing and Footwear in an association with Alpargatas, Collection and Treatment of Domestic and Industrial Waste.
